A little bit about me...
Steeven Nelson helps Brooklyn buyers and sellers move with clarity, confidence, and calm. Known for a concierge-level approach and sharp negotiation, he guides clients through the full arc of a real estate decision, from “are we ready?”, to accepted offer, to closing day; while keeping the experience grounded, informed, and surprisingly doable.
A proud member of The Scott Klein Team at Compass, Steeven specializes in Brooklyn, where he pairs market fluency with genuine cultural awareness and an eye for what makes a home feel right. He’s especially good at translating big, emotional goals into smart, financially sound moves, whether that’s landing the right first home, selling with intention, or building a longer-term plan.
Before real estate, Steeven worked in nonprofit relationship management, fundraising, and hospitality, experience that shows up in how he communicates, follows through, and builds trust over time. He’s adventurous by nature, values art & beauty, loves being part of people’s stories, and believes the best service feels both professional and personal, bringing steady strategy, thoughtful care, and a little joy along the way.
Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Steeven earned a B.S. in Entrepreneurship from Hampton University and an M.S. in Nonprofit Management from The New School. He lives in Crown Heights and is forever an “angel dog dad” to Julius, his beloved Doberman, who still inspires his daily walks, big heart, and steady presence.
